• You can book by filling out our enquiry form on the website or by contacting us directly via email/phone. We’ll then arrange an initial consultation for 15 minutes at no charge to discuss your needs and see whether counselling with us might be right for you.

  • No — you can self-refer. There’s no need to have a GP or other professional refer you. We accept clients who reach out directly.

  • Each counselling session is charged at £50.00 and lasts approximately 50 minutes.

We offer a consistent and confidential therapeutic space at a fair and transparent rate, with no hidden fees. Sessions are typically held weekly, but this can be tailored to your needs following our initial consultation.

  • Life can be unpredictable, and I understand that sometimes plans need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give as much notice as possible.

    • Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice: No charge.

    • Cancellations within 24 hours: A 50% fee may apply, unless in cases of emergency or illness.

    • Missed sessions without notice: The full session fee may be charged.

I aim to offer the same courtesy and will provide at least 48 hours’ notice if I ever need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Yes. We adhere to all relevant legal and professional standards (e.g. confidentiality codes, GDPR). Your details and discussions are private and will only be shared under certain conditions such as:

    • You give explicit consent.

    • We are required by law (e.g. court order).

    • There is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others.

In all cases, I will attempt to speak with you first before sharing any information, unless there is an immediate risk and time does not allow.

  • This depends on your needs and goals. Some people see benefit in just a few sessions; others may work over months. We’ll discuss this at initial assessment, and review progress every 6-8 weeks.

  • At present, I offer online counselling sessions via secure video call. This allows flexibility and accessibility, especially for those with busy schedules or limited travel options.

In the future, I aim to offer face-to-face sessions, and will update clients when this becomes available. You're welcome to begin therapy online and transition to in-person when the option becomes available, if preferred.

    • We’ll ask about your history, current concerns, what you want to get out of counselling.

    • Discuss what therapy approach might suit you.

    • Set up expectations (frequency of sessions, duration, confidentiality, etc.).

    • Agree together on goals or outcomes.

  • If you need to take a break, we can discuss how best to pause and re‑start. If you feel you aren’t connecting with the therapist, we can explore options for switching to someone else who might be a better match.
